UHM – Tied Insurance Intermediary
As tied insurance intermediaries of Laferla Insurance Agency Limited, the Union offers to all its members substantial discounts on various insurance policies.
All members are eligible to a 7.5% discount on Car insurance premiums, a 30% discount on the premiums of Travel insurance, a 7.5% discount on Health insurance premiums and greater reductions in the case of Group Schemes on the workplace.
Home Insurance policies attract the following standard discounts:
• 10% discount for insured persons over 61 years of age
• 10% discount for insured persons who have their private car comprehensively insured with Laferla Insurance Agency Limited
• 10% discount on the Contents section of the policy if a burglar alarm is installed and warranted in the policy.
(The maximum discount applicable under a Home policy is 20% overall)
Moreover, attracting premiums are also available for commercial insurance policies covering shops and factories, including Employers’ Liability and other forms of insurance protection.
