St. Mark’s Health Clinic is one of the leading Health Clinics in Malta both for the professional services it offers as well as for the modern equipment it boasts of.
All UHM members automatically get a free membership at Saint Mark’s Health Clinic. Moreover, UHM members can enrol their families as members of St. Mark’s Health Clinic for the special sum of Lm2 (€4.66) per year instead of the normal Lm10 (€23.29) fee.
UHM members are also entitled to special discounts and special treatment at this Clinic on presentation of the UHM membership card.
There are various services offered at St. Mark’s Health Clinic and members are entitled to the following services and discounts:
2 free visits by a doctor at the clinic per year.
10% discount on the following services (excluding fees for consultants)
- Endoscopic Procedures
- Ultrasounds
- Stress ECG
- Foetal Monitoring
- Diagnostic Laboratory (Blood Tests)
- X-Rays
- CT Scans
- Dentistry
15% discount on Minor, Intermediate and Major Operations (excluding fees for consultants).
There are also special offers for those availing themselves of the dental services at the Clinic. In fact, all patients visiting the dentist, who make use of the operating theatre and need anaesthetic, something quite common with children, will be entitled to special rebates. In special cases, the clinic may also offer one of the parents to stay for a night or 2 for free, at the clinic with his or her child. Check-ups are free and routine treatments for members and their families have a 10% discount. Most dental services are offered at Saint Mark’s Health Clinic every day from Monday to Saturday between 9.00 hrs and 12.00 hrs and between 15.00 hrs and 19.00 hrs.
A special rebate is also available on special services of a general nature including Stress ECG, Chest X-Ray and Blood Tests.
UHM members are also entitled to special treatment as far as appointments with Consultants are concerned. Members are entitled to a visit by a Consultant within 24 hours instead of waiting for several weeks, as is the norm.
St. Mark’s Health Clinic opens Monday to Friday from 8.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs and on Saturdays from 8.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs. Many consultants are in attendance, covering various medical fields, such as:
