EU Information Office
(Ghal test bil-Malti aghfas hawn) The European Union Information Office, within the Union Haddiema Maghqudin was set up in August 1999. The person in charge of this office is Dr. Romina Bartolo. The aim of this office is to provide information regarding the European Union not only to the members of the UHM but also to the public at large. Information is tendered by means of publications, meetings, seminars and conferences. Documents published by the European Commission are also available on request. Familiarisation visits, especially to Brussels, for the Union officials, Council members and activists, are organised on a regular basis. This helps those participating to acquaint themselves with the institutions of the European Union. This office is also equipped with a library featuring books on various EU issues.
